The 2025 GR Supra will only come with a turbocharged 3.0L inline-six engine producing 382 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. This engine can paired with either a 6-speed manual for do-it-yourselfers or an 8-speed automatic transmission for those who prefer taking off faster. With three pedals, the GR Supra snapes to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, with two, expect 3.9 brief seconds. The GR Supra’s performance is further enhanced by its rear-wheel-drive configuration, promising an engaging and dynamic driving experience.

Inside, the 2025 GR Supra continues to offer a driver-focused cockpit with premium materials and advanced technology. The seats are upholstered in high-quality leather and Alcantara, providing both comfort and support during spirited drives. The infotainment system includes a high-resolution touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatibility, ensuring connectivity and convenience.

Safety continues to be a key focus for Toyota, and the 2025 GR Supra is equipped with an array of advanced safety features. These include a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. These systems work together to provide a safer driving experience, whether on the track or on the road.

The suspension and chassis of the GR Supra have been fine-tuned to offer precise handling and a balanced ride. The adaptive variable suspension adjusts to different driving conditions, providing optimal comfort and performance. The electronic limited-slip differential enhances traction and stability, especially during high-speed cornering.

Toyota GR Supra, BMW Z4 Dead in 2026: Report

The current A90 Supra was launched just over five years ago and was last “updated” for the 2021 model year with the output bump for the I6 and platform tweaks. The manual gearbox option was introduced for the 2023 model year.

Toyota’s decision to streamline the GR Supra’s engine options makes us wonder if the car will be offered for much longer. Slimming down on options and trims is a clever way of backing out slowly and almost unnoticed.
