15 Cars Featured During Monterey Car Week

Monterey Car Week saw the feature of countless vehicles, but some notable ones, including the Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail, the 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster, the Czinger 21C Blackbird Edition, and more, have won our hearts.

 

  • An assemblage of 15 exclusive and potent vehicles made an apparition at Monterey Car Week, spanning the spectrum from hypercars to classic continuations.

  • Brands like Maserati, Pininfarina, Ford, Infiniti, RUF, Zenvo, Jaguar Classic, and Aston Martin showcased their cutting-edge designs and performance innovations.


 

1. Rolls-Royce La Rose Noire Droptail

Rolls-Royce unveiled an ultra-luxurious limited edition vehicle, the La Rose Noire Droptail. Crafted with bespoke elements, only four units of this flower-inspired convertible will ever grace the roads, each commanding a staggering price tag of over $33 million CAD. The car’s unique design pays homage to the Black Baccara flower, influencing its distinctive paint, wood veneers, and even an exclusive watch commissioned from Audemars Piguet.

2. 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster

A classic gem took center stage as the 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster secured the Best of Show title. With a history tied to royalty and WWII, this exquisite vehicle is a testament to 1930s craftsmanship. This exceptional car, one of only 26 ever produced, captures the elegance and power of its era, gracing the event with its iconic presence.

3. Czinger 21C Blackbird Edition

The Czinger 21C Blackbird Edition made a striking appearance, paying homage to aviation history. This ultra-powerful hypercar, inspired by the legendary SR-71 Blackbird aircraft, boasts a jet-black exterior, SR-71-inspired wheels, and meticulous aeromotive details. With a twin-turbo V8 and electric motors churning out 1,350 HP, the Blackbird Edition truly soars into the future of automotive engineering.

4. 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe

Mercedes-AMG introduced the second-generation GT Coupe, combining dynamic driving experience with elevated comfort. With advanced technologies like active aerodynamics and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, this model promises an exhilarating performance. Boasting a handcrafted V8 Biturbo engine, it arrives in two powerful variants: the 577 HP GT 63 and the 469 HP GT 55.

5. Bentley Bentayga EWB Mulliner

Bentley unveiled the Bentayga EWB Mulliner, a pinnacle of luxury SUVs. With opulent features, including a spacious cabin, unique exterior elements, and a sustainable approach, this model sets a new standard in the luxury segment. Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine, it fuses performance and sophistication in one harmonious package.

6. Kia EV6 Limited Edition

Kia celebrated the EV6’s win as North American Utility Vehicle of the Year with a limited edition model. The EV6 Limited Edition features a distinctive Forest Green paint, a luxurious Desert Beige interior, and exclusive features. With only 1,000 units available, this edition epitomizes Kia’s commitment to innovation and design.

7. Lamborghini Lanzador

Lamborghini offered a glimpse into its electric future with the Lanzador concept. Embodied as an Ultra GT, this visionary concept showcases all-electric drive, active aerodynamics, and innovative driving dynamics control. Inspired by spaceships, the Lanzador’s futuristic design, coupled with cutting-edge technology, heralds Lamborghini’s commitment to electrification and performance.

8. Maserati MCXtrema

Maserati’s track-only MCXtrema, a variant of the MC20, boasts 730 horsepower from its twin-turbo V6 engine. Limited to 62 units, all sold, it features a six-speed sequential gearbox, carbon-ceramic brakes, and adjustable suspension. The race car for the wealthy comes with air conditioning and UV-reactive switchgear.

9. Pininfarina B95

Pininfarina’s B95 is an exclusive electric hypercar, limited to 10 units. Its 1,874 hp comes from four motors and a 120 kWh battery pack. Its innovative design incorporates PURA philosophy with unique features, while the caramel-colored leather interior and digital displays enhance its modern appeal. Price: 4.4 million euros.

10. 2025 Ford Mustang GTD

Ford’s 2025 Mustang GTD combines Mustang GT3 elements with street-legal attributes. It showcases a carbon fiber body, a supercharged V8 engine, and advanced aerodynamics. The interior features Miko suede, leather, and digital displays. With limited production and an expected $300,000 USD MSRP, it redefines automotive performance.

11. Infiniti QX Monograph

Infiniti’s QX Monograph, revealed at Pebble Beach, previews the brand’s next production model. Its swanky design incorporates rounded edges, thin lights, and a houndstooth-patterned interior. Likely the next QX80, it blends contemporary aesthetics with Infiniti’s traditional elegance for a striking presence on the road.

12. RUF R Spyder

Unveiled at Monterey Car Week, the RUF R Spyder redefines classic sports car design. It features a 4.0L flat-six engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, coupled with innovative elements like a central “spine” and camera mirrors. Its carbon-fiber rear hood offers both aesthetic appeal and functional enhancements.

13. Zenvo Aurora

Zenvo’s Aurora introduces a remarkable hybrid hypercar with an 1850-horsepower quad-turbo V-12 engine. Offering two variants, Agil and Tur, it pairs the V-12 engine with a 200-horsepower electric motor for extraordinary performance. Its carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and advanced suspension contribute to its exceptional agility and speed.

14. Jaguar Classic C-type and D-type Continuations

Jaguar Classic’s C-type and D-type Continuations commemorate historic racing victories. Handcrafted with meticulous detail, these limited-production models uphold Jaguar’s legacy of innovation and racing excellence. These models, showcased at Monterey Car Week, pay homage to the brand’s storied past and automotive engineering prowess.

15. Aston Martin DB12 Volante

Aston Martin’s DB12 Volante, a convertible version of the DB12 coupe, combines a 671-hp twin-turbo V8 with a fabric roof featuring acoustic insulation. It achieves 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and maintains a top speed of 320 km/h. Debuted at Monterey Car Week, it offers elegance and performance in one package.
