The 2019 Toyota Prius TRD Looks Pretty Good

This is the 2019 Toyota Prius TRD, a decked-out hybrid vehicle that doesn’t look all that bad.

Toyota has been bringing the TRD lineup of accessories to a range of vehicles in recent months and the Prius is just the latest model to get the treatment. The Toyota Racing Development accessories shown here are fitted to the face-lifted 2019 Toyota Prius we saw at last month’s Los Angeles Auto Show.

That model’s main attraction was the addition of all-wheel drive. The TRD Prius adds a body kit and rear diffuser along with a dual exhaust and upgraded wheels. Although TRD is known for adding performance, the Prius it has prepared is designed to be even more efficient and aerodynamic in order to improve fuel economy that much more.

Still, the Toyota Prius TRD looks good and certainly stands out more than your run-of-the-mill Prius. We’d buy one. If you feel the same way, know that the TRD pieces will be available as stand-alone options on the Prius at your dealer’s parts center.
