In a just-released video, Aston Martin teases more of the DBX’s styling and its link to the company’s sports car heritage
We all got a glimpse of what the Aston Martin DBX SUV will look like at this past July’s Goodwood FOS. A camouflaged DBX mule made the run up the hill generating lots of speed and pretty noises.
The camo’d AM DBX could not mask all of the sport-luxury SUV’s curves but this video teaser sharpens the focus on many of them. Knowing Aston Martin, the final vehicle will surely be considered one of the most elegant of its kind when it arrives early next year.
Its official reveal is slated for December but in the meantime, let us recall that the AM DBX, thanks to its collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, will be powered by a bi-turbo 4.0-litre V8 built by AMG. It will even feature an electrical architecture sourced from Mercedes as well.
Power from the V8 will be of 503-horsepower, incidentally the same number as the DB11 and the Vantage. The AWD system will be a sophisticated number with proposed abilities that would allow it to conquer some seriously rough terrain or, as seen at the FOS, tackle a racetrack.
The order books are already open however official pricing is not yet known.
