2020 BMW X3 M and X4 M Break Cover With Over 500 Horsepower

BMW unveiled the first-ever 2020 BMW X3 M and X4 M as well as their Competition variant. The X3 M and X4 M develop 480 hp while the Competition packs 510 hp.

The 2020 BMW X3 M and X4 M were added to the lineup today, as well as their Competition variants. These models are distinguished by, among other things, the all-new 3.0L 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine developing 480 hp (M) and 510 hp (Competition). As for the torque, it reaches 442 lb-ft on both versions.

Unveiled on the M5, the M xDrive all-wheel-drive system is on these new SUVs. The system is coupled to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.

The M xDrive system is rear-wheel bias and offers the BMW X3 M and BMW X4 M buyers two AWD driving modes.

In addition, an M-specific suspension with adaptive dampers with three settings selectable is standard too.

In terms of design, the vehicles adopt a style faithful to the usual M models, namely, exterior carbon fibre accents, oversized air intakes and exclusive exterior colours. LED headlights are also standard.

The 2020 BMW X3 M and X4 M are also equipped with 20-inch wheels, while the Competition version will come equipped with 21-inch wheels.

Inside, we find the same M treatment, with an M dashboard, sports seats, Vernasca leather plus the M leather steering wheel and gear selector.

As for the performance, the M versions will be capable of shooting down the 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, while the Competition version will do so in 4.1 seconds.
