2020 Charger SRT Hellcat And Scat Pack Go Widebody

Wider body, wider wheels, loads of grip and massive power, the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and Scat Pack make for the coolest American sedan ever.

The move was expected and we all knew what the car was going to look like but even so, the widebody 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat and Scat Pack are a serious eye-full. The Widebody adds 8.8 centimeters (3.5 inches) of width over the wider wheels and tires, capped on each end by unique front and rear fascias that are guaranteed to scare the paint off the competition.

Sadly, the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat has no competition… The 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI Hellcat V-8 engine has no equal. This Charger launches to 60 mph from a standstill (0-96 km/h) in 3.6 seconds on its way to a quarter-mile elapse time (ET) of 10.96 seconds. The top speed is set at 315 km/h or 196 mph. Aiding in putting the power to work is a standard TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission.

The new 2020 Dodge Charger Scat Pack is no slouch. It is powered by the 392-cubic-inch HEMI 6.4-litre V-8 which produces 485-horsepower. It too relies on the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission to send the muscle rearward. The Scat Pack Widebody covers the 0-96 km/h sprint in 4.3 seconds and crushes the quarter-mile 12.4 seconds.

The widebody kit includes giant 20×11-inch wheels all around shod with HUGE 305/35ZR20 Pirelli tires and a unique Bilstein three-mode adaptive dampers as part of the dedicated and beefed up suspension. The amount of physical provided by the rubber and chassis seems impossible as this full-size massive Hellcat of a sedan can pull .96 g on the skidpad. Get this: the Scat Pack manages a .98 g on the skidpad.

The speed comes to an abrupt end thanks to standard Brembo six-piston front calipers with two-piece front brake rotors and four-piston rear calipers.

Like the Dodge Challenger before it, the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat and the Charger Scat Pack are muscle car enthusiasts dreams come true – they’re backed by a factory warranty! And, they can be ordered in one of many special colours including new ones such as Frostbite,  Hellraisin and Sinamon Stick along with F8 Green, Go Mango, Pitch Black and many more.
