It’s got the vintage look and all the modern conveniences.
This “Highboy” is based on a regular cab but all configurations are possible.
New retro-themed full-size pickups are hot items. The last few years have seen a number of Chevy dealers building Cheyenne- and squarebody-inspired Silverados. GMC also got in on the trend when they introduced the Desert Fox Sierra Concept in 2017. This particular 2020 Ford F-250, put together by Long McArthur Ford in Salinas, Kansas is a tribute to the late 60s F-250 which earned the nickname highboy for a good reason.
Highboy referred to the fact that a 1967 to 1975 Ford F-250 4×4 featured four inches higher off the ground in the front to accommodate the 4WD drivetrain. At the time, two-tone paint jobs were all the rage and this combination has made this generation Ford pickup a coveted one.
Fast-forward to 2020 this Kansas state Ford dealer will kit your F-250 Super Duty with LMP Classic Two-Tone and Highboy Bedside graphics, a front 2-inch suspension lift, 18-inch Pro Comp wheels with 35-inch BF Goodrich off-road tires, a K3 Highboy polished roll bar, KC Hilite Day Lighter Lights, and more.
The package adds $11,995 to the truck’s basic price tag which includes the STX Appearance Package on the regular model seen in the video and pictures. Although it’s not a cheap upgrade, it’s nice to know that everything is covered by the basic factory warranty.
Package is $8,495 not $11,995.
