2020 Kia Telluride Unveiled For The First Time In Canada At The 2019 CIAS

Kia’s large midsize 3-row SUV may have a weird name, but it is absolutely ready to take on the Canadian family and all its needs.

If space and value are high on your priority list when shopping for a new family hauler, then the Kia Telluride should be equally high on your short list of considerations. That list however will be loaded with numerous options that should include the likes of the Subaru Ascent, Mazda CX-9 and VW Atlas, to name but a few.

The 2020 Kia Telluride’s weapons to convince all families is seating for seven or eight passengers thanks to a second row that can either be a bench or captain chairs, and plenty of room for an enormous amount of gear thanks to its near 5-meter overall length and numerous safety features. The standard power liftgate will open up to a capacious boot for all the camping or hockey gear you can afford.

The adults, also known as parents, will like the Kia’s large 10.25-inch screen that serves as the central nervous center to access, among many other elements, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 10-Speaker Harman/Kardon Premium Audio system.

The Telluride will be powered by a 291 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque 3.8-liter V6 engine mated to the front or all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Pricing has yet to be announced but should be known shortly as the big Kia will go on sale soon.
