A more detailed look at the Toyota Supra TRD Performance Line of accessories for the new Toyota flagship.
The 2020 Toyota Supra was always going to get a comprehensive lineup of TRD accessories and now we get our first look at what Toyota has planned for its new performance coupe. TRD (which stands for Toyota Racing Development) mostly deals with esthetic improvements and upgrades, and the accessories planned for the new Supra aren’t any different.
We’re not talking more power, but the Toyota Supra TRD certainly looks more agressive, sportier, and faster than the base Supra. The most noticeable addition is the front splitter, a three-piece package that increases downforce while also lowering the already low Supra. The Supra TRD also includes rocker extensions which improve air flow around the rear of the vehicle and further lower the Toyota Supra. A rear diffuser takes away even more ground clearance to make a fully decked out 2020 Supra TRD a nightmare anywhere speed bumps are found. A rear spoiler is part of the package as well as are 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The TRD accessory lineup for the Supra are designed to make the car more noticeable and improve downforce more than anything else. The parts are currently offered only in Japan and according to a SuperMKV member, they aren’t cheap. The converted price came out to over $23,000 US, or over $30,000 in Canada. Still, you know a TRD package is coming for the Supra in addition to a range of other aftermarket tuning options.
