2020 Toyota Supra Widebody Is Exactly What You Want

When you think of the perfect car to modify and tune, the Supra has to come to mind right out of the gate.

We’d be curious to know exactly how many tuned Supras are out there, but we’d be willing to guess there are more modified units that stock vehicles. The 2020 Toyota Supra will likely take over where the previous generation left off.

Tuners are already putting their best foot forward. Look no further than Prior Design, a German-based tuning firm that has developed wild widebody kits for a plethora of cars including the new BMW 8-Series, the Ferrari 458, the Tesla Model S, and now the 2020 Toyota Supra.

Still very early in its development, the Prior Design Toyota Supra looks stunning regardless. Wider, lower, and more aggressive in every possible way, it takes the Supra’s unique design and tweaks it just enough to put it over the top without looking weird or overly modified.

A huge rear wing will add downforce and the exhaust system has been tuned to sound even louder and breathe better as you push the new Supra’s 3.0-liter inline-six. It’s too early to know if Prior Design will bump up the power, but we expect a wide range of hyper powerful Toyota Supra models in coming years.

The Supra tuning craze should be in full force at next year’s SEMA show. Toyota will also get into the game with a modified Supra coming from GRMN. Expect a body kit here as well along with an upgrade in power. The stock 2020 Toyota Supra sends 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels.
