2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan Trims Overview For Canada

A look at the two versions coming on the 2021 Grand Caravan announced for Canada

  • Two versions of the 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan will be offered exclusively in Canada

The 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan will replace the Dodge Grand Caravan as FCA’s second minivan. It will be offered in Canada only and come in two trims.

The announcement of the 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan will certainly make dealers breathe better as the Grand Caravan nameplate is a huge seller still for Canada. For the 2021 continuation, Chrysler focused on bringing back versions that are similar to the top sellers on the previous Dodge Grand Caravan.

As for the design, Chrysler is essentially recycling the previous Pacifica into the new Chrysler Grand Caravan while the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica will get a new design. Power remains the same from the 3.6-litre V6, but the Grand Caravan gets a new 9-speed automatic as opposed to a 6-speed which means improved fuel economy.

What stands out here is that the base model gets 17-inch steel wheels despite a $37,995 base price. Moreover, heated front seats don’t appear to be offered except in an optional package on the top trim. This may be a bit of a turnoff for some buyers, but on the flip side expect the 2021 Chrysler Grand Caravan base model to get some generous incentives not too long after launch.

The goal of the model will definitely be for value-focused consumers who need interior space for their family, and little else.
