Electric Ford Mustang Mach-E GT will be available in Cyber Orange Metallic Tri-Coat
GT trim will be the fastest Mach-E available
Mustang Mach-E GT deliveries expected to begin late summer 2021
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be available in a range of colors when it arrives on the market within the next year. One of those colors will be a new Cyber Orange tint that is very close to past orange colors offered on Mustang coupe and convertible models.
The availability of a distinctive Mustang hue on the Mach-E further ties both vehicles together.
“Mustang has always turned heads and Mustang Mach-E will be no exception.” said Dave Pericak, director, Ford Icons. “We can’t wait for Cyber Orange to hit the streets on Mustang Mach-E GT next year to fuel the passion of our orange Mustang fans.”
The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT will be the quickest version of the new electric Ford fastback. Ford says it will reach 60 mph in the mid 3.0-second range with an estimated 250 miles of range (400 kilometres) and all-wheel drive. It’s expected to arrive in summer 2021 after other versions of the Mustang Mach-E such as the First Edition, Select, Premium, and California Route 1.
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium will have the highest range of the groupe with an estimated 300 miles (480 kilometres). The Mach-E will compete head-to-head with the Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2.
The flagship GT model will also be available in Dark Matter Gray as well as Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, Grabber Blue, Shadow Black, Iconic Silver and Space White.
