2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E Recalled in Canada

  • Ford is recalling roughly 5,000 Mustang Mach-E models in Canada

One of the two recalls announced today on the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is a panoramic sunroof issue. The second, affecting more vehicles, involves the windshield.

In total, 3,178 Ford Mustang Mach-E models are being recalled for the windshield defect and 1,812 units for the panoramic sunroof problem.

In both cases, the problem is similar. The windshield glass or the panoramic sunroof may not have been properly secured which could cause it to come off in an accident or simply come apart from the vehicle over time.

Dealers will clean the glass and apply glue to secure the components more effectively.

Affected owners will be contacted directly by Ford to make the necessary arrangements.
