The Calligraphy will sit above the Limited (US) and Ultimate (Canada) in the trim structure.
This version will include all the most desirable features.
Arrives this month in US showrooms, August in Canada.
The Hyundai Palisade, and its non-identical sibling, the Kia Telluride, are all the rage. Inventories are low, demand is high and many who purchase these SUVs are new to the brand. Curious shoppers with discerning tastes might be convinced to buy a Hyundai Palisade thanks to the new Calligraphy trim.
Hyundai strikes once more while the iron is hot with a new trim for the 2021 Hyundai Palisade and it is called Calligraphy. This version of the large 3-row SUV will sit at the very top of the Palisade’s trim hierarchy as it will include numerous premium features. On top of the already considerably well-equipped Limited, in the US, Ultimate, in Canada, the Calligraphy will add the following:
Mechanically, it will get HTRAC AWD with AWD Lock, Downhill Brake Control, and a Snow Mode. The exterior visual giveaways include unique Calligraphy-exclusive 20-inch wheels, a Calligraphy-exclusive front grille fascia, ultra-wide LED center high-mount stoplight, and puddle lamps.
The cabin gains the most appreciable features, namely quilted-leather door panels, microfiber-suede headliner, and a perforated leather steering wheel.
All other 2021 Hyundai Palisade trims have been repackaged to deliver extra value and make the purchasing process much simpler. LED headlights are now standard and extra connectivity features like Multiple Device Connection capability, HD radio, and Wireless Smartphone Connectivity (for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) are offered on lower trims than before.
In Canada, the Ultimate trim represented about 50% of all Palisades sold, so odds are the new Calligraphy version will do very well.
