2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition Sold Out in Less Than 24 Hours

It took less than a day to fill the 702 allowed slots

  • The 702 copies of the 702-hp TRX Launch Edition are sold;

  • Pricing in the United States starts at $92,010 and $114,995 in Canada;

  • Order book opened yesterday.


It took about three hours for the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition to be sold out in the United States. Announced on Monday during the TRX presentation, the TRX Launch Edition was made available yesterday on August 18th. Ram Truck announced today that they have found buyers for the 702 units they will build later this year.

In order to “commemorate the world’s most powerful pickup truck”, FCA created the TRX Launch Edition which features a unique Anvil grey exterior paint and special interior badging among other things. It’s powered by the same 6.2-litre supercharged HEMI V8 developing 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

And we meant that in more ways than one.

In the United States, the TRX Launch Edition will set you back $92,010, meanwhile, in Canada, it will be priced at $114,995.

The Hellcat-powered pickup will be built at FCA’s Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan and the production will start in the fourth quarter of this year.
