2021 Ram TRX And Jeep Grand Wagoneer Production Starting Soon

Big things are coming soon including the new Ram TRX and the high-end Jeep Grand Wagoneer

  • New Ram Rebel TRX performance truck production to begin before the end of the year

  • The three-row Jeep Grand Wagoneer production will start next spring

The 2021 Ram Rebel TRX will start production before the end of the year while the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer will begin being built in Q2 2021.

That’s what we learned from FCA’s Q2 financial results publication published last week. Muscle Cars&Trucks was first to report the news.

The new Ram Rebel TRX was confirmed last month and was announced for this summer, so chances are we will the performance truck very soon. Aimed at the Ford F-150 Raptor (TRX=T-Rex, get it?), the TRX is rumored to include a Hellcat 6.2-litre V8 with over 700 horsepower.

As for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep’s first three-row, luxury SUV is expected to debut production in Q2, 2021. The Warren, Michigan plant will shut down in October to prepare for the Grand Wagoneer’s production, again according to FCA.

The new Grand Wagoneer will be Jeep’s flagship sport utility vehicle. Rumors suggest it will get a hybrid engine and will be packed with luxurious features and high-end technologies.

The Grand Wagoneer production start will be followed by the new-generation Grand Cherokee that will begin in summer 2021.

2021 will be a big year for FCA, and specifically for Ram and Jeep. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next year.
