The new 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime will start at $44,990 before incentives

The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime will start at $44,990 in Canada and come in three versions which we detail below.

But first, a little bit of engine specs. The new Toyota RAV4 Prime will feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain combining a 2.5-litre four-cylinder Atkinson Cycle engine, an electric powertrain, and an 18.1 kWh battery. Total output is rated at 302 horsepower while range is rated at 68 kilometres (42 miles). Toyota says the 2021 RAV4 Prime reaches 60 mph (97 km/h) in just 5.8 seconds.

The RAV4 Prime can be recharged in less than 3 hours using a 240-volt outlet, or 12 hours using a 120-volt outlet.

The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime will be eligible for the full rebate from both federal and provincial governments in Canada. That means that Quebec buyers will receive a total of $13,000 off, bringing the price for the 2021 RAV4 Prime SE to $31,990. Buyers in BC receive $6,500 off meaning $38,490 while the rest of Canada will get $5,000 off.
