The Ford Bronco, the real Bronco, continues to be an extremely hot item, unlike the Bronco Sport. Yeah, the small one… This is understandable as Ford’s introduced a number of unique trims and versions over the last year including the all-conquering Raptor.
The Bronco Raptor is built to tackle all eventualities starting with more power. While many hoped for a V8 engine, the Raptor is still quite powerful thanks to its 3.0-litre Ecoboost twin-turbocharged V6 which produces more than 400 horsepower. We say “more” as Ford’s still not divulged the final number. The Raptor’s also got Dana axles, Fox Live Valve shocks, Beadlock-capable 17-inch wheels wear 37-inch tall BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires, and way more.
Priced from $68,500, or only $175 less than the equally awesome F-150 Raptor, the Bronco is already loaded to the hilt. Options include colour, wheels, seating material, graphics, and a luxury package. With all of them ticked, the Raptor’s price easily rises to $80k.
Pricing in Canada is not yet known however, following the F-150 example, which is priced at just under $87,000, we can expect the Bronco Raptor to retail for at least $85,000 to start.
