This is the 11th generation of Canada’s best-selling car.
These prices are for the sedan.
The hatchback will be revealed next week.
The all-new 2022 Honda Civic sedan officially launched back in mid-April and now it’s arriving in showrooms across the country. At the moment, the sedan will be offered in four trims, but this is only the beginning. On June 23rd, the hatchback will premier and before long, a new sporty Si and high-performance Type R will also be introduced.
The Honda Civic has been a Canadian favorite for decades and most of us have owned one, driven one, or been a passenger in one in our lives.
“The Civic has been Canada’s best-selling passenger car for 23 years for many reasons, it’s among the safest, most reliable, and fun to drive cars on the road and is built in Alliston, Ontario,” says Steve Hui, assistant vice president sales and marketing for Honda Canada. “The new Civic raises the bar in design, performance, safety, and technology, continuing to set the standard in its class.”
The 2022 Civic LX priced at $24,465 includes a naturally aspirated 158-horsepower 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). The $26,765 2022 Civic EX adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a power sliding moonroof, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone climate control. The Civic Sport ($27,865) throws in 18-inch wheels, black exterior accents, a chrome exhaust finisher, Sport-specific seating surfaces, paddle shifters, sport pedals, and a new Sport driving mode.
The 2022 Civic Touring, at $30,265, gets a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless charging and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Bose sound system, a new 10.2-inch digital instrument display, front and rear parking sensors, Sport driving mode, and LED fog lights.
