The next-generation GLC is expected in the next few years
GLC rendering takes cues from the redesigned GLE
Expect next generation to be larger
The next-generation 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC is expected to arrive next year and this recent rendering by Koaéca.ru gives us a glimpse of what it could look like.
This rendering is one of the most realistic we’ve seen in a while for any model, and looks like it could go into production next week. It takes several design cues from the redesigned GLE and GLS Mercedes-Benz SUVs. The headlights as well as the grille and more agressive body panels seem taken from the more recent Benz utility vehicles.
If the 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC follows the path created by its larger brothers, it will be a lot more spacious inside. With the arrival of the GLB, the GLC has space to move a bit up in terms of size, and overall refinement.
The GLC should also get a new interior very similar to what we see on the GLE and GLS.
Recent spy shots of the GLC appear to fit with the rendering as well.
Ultimately, this is all speculation up to this point but Mercedes-Benz is fairly consistent in its redesigns. We wouldn’t be surprised if the rendering comes out looking pretty much like the production model.
