There’s loads of pressure on the new Nissan Pathfinder to do well in the midsize 3-row SUV segment

  • All versions are equipped with AWD in Canada.

  • The new Pathfinder arrives mid-summer in showrooms.

As the midsize 3-row SUV segment continues to grow and become a go-to category for many Canadian families, the time for the Nissan Pathfinder to regain some, if not all, of its former glory has arrived.

Redesigned 2022 Nissan Pathfinder Debuts

This is why Nissan’s opted to deliver the new 2022 Pathfinder with an upgraded powertrain that will deliver a more robust SUV-like performance. Standard for all Pathfinder versions is an all-new 9-speed automatic transmission coupled to a 3.5-litre V6. An equally all-new Intelligent 4WD with 7-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector will be paired to the engine and transmission. All said, with the right features, the Pathfinder will be able to tow up to 6,000lbs or 2,722kgs.

“The high-value, all-new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder provides the rugged capability, flexibility, and connectivity ideal for unforgettable family adventures,” says Adam Paterson, Director of Marketing, Nissan Canada Inc. “Once the all-new Pathfinder hits dealer lots, customers will be able to experience all the incredible capabilities the vehicle has to offer.”
