This is without a doubt the most anticipated new 992 Porsche 911.
2022 pricing is a $17,000 jump over the last 2019 991.2 GT3.
Porsche has also announced the arrival of the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) technology.
If you ask diehard Porsche enthusiast, while the Turbo versions are always interesting, it’s the sublime GT3 that usually comes out on top as the greatest iteration of any new 911. In mid-February, Porsche revealed details on the new GT3 and it’s perfect. And now we know it’s priced at $180,300 in Canada.
The New 2022 Porsche 911 GT3: Ultimate Naturally-Aspirated Porsche
The last new Porsche 911 GT3 (and GT3 RS) were offered for the 2019 model year. At the time, the GT3 retailed for $167,300 while the GT3 RS sported a $213,400 asking price. The new 992 GT3 has been thoroughly enhanced, easily justifying the price increase. Keeping with this price gap, we can assume that when the 992 GT3 RS, it too will be at least $45,000 more.
Along with the pricing news, Porsche has announced that all new 2022 911s will get more services included with the latest generation of Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The included trial period will go from one to three years for Porsche Connect. The latter includes Voice Pilot (“Hey Porsche”), Navigation Plus with real-time traffic updates, as well as wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (new) will also be included. Also, 911 Carrera, Targa, and Turbo models fitted with the PDK transmission will optionally be equipped with Remote Park Assist.
