We drove and reviewed the Ram TRX just over a year ago, but it feels like it was yesterday. The power, the noise, and its looks make TRX the most badass vehicle on four wheels. It’s also not cheap, never has been, and never will be. For 2022, the price has risen by a considerable amount.
The 2021 Ram TRX initially launched at $70,000 in the US and $94,000 in Canada. Shortly after that, thanks to insane demand and love from everyone who came into contact with it, Ram increased pricing slightly. That was in 2021. For 2022, Ram’s boosted MSRPs much like the supercharger boosts the 6.2-litre V8.
The latest price jump in the US for the 2022 model year has seen the TRX’s base price soar from $70,425 to $76,880, or a $6,455 hike according to MSN. In Canada, pricing shot up from $97,865 to $102,095. There’s no need to wonder why Ram’s done this – they simply can.
