Quebec and British Columbia will get it first.
The new Toyota Mirai was introduced about two years ago and will finally makes its way to Canada this spring. The electric hydrogen-powered sedan will be available in two trims: XLE and Limited.
Toyota engineers have put a tremendous amount of effort in the new Mirai. The car now rolls on Toyota’s GA-L premium rear-wheel-drive platform for a significantly more dynamic driving experience. It is also far more appealing. Coupe-like in profile with defined body lines and a powerful presence, the new Mirai is sharp.
“The Toyota Mirai changes everything about personal mobility – offering drivers an advanced powertrain that produces zero emissions and is as fast as gas to refuel,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “But above all, the new Toyota Mirai is a vehicle that drivers will choose because it’s a gorgeous sedan that’s fun to drive – and that just happens to be a fuel cell electric.”
