Order books open March 10 for the return of an icon
Acura still hasn’t given us details of the new ‘teg
Acura is getting ready to launch the Integra and that means it will be opening up pre-orders for the car soon. Acura says that reservations for the 2023 Integra will open on March 10th, and we haven’t even seen the whole car yet.
The rebirth of the Integra started with the Prototype that Acura revealed late last year. In Indy Yellow Pearl with big door graphics, it was meant to be a tribute to the Integra Type R of the turn of the century. That didn’t resonate well with everyone, but that’s not slowing the automaker down.
If you’re looking to get a 2023 Acura Integra, your first chance will be March 10th, when reservations open for the car. There will be a limited number of units available for those reservations, but if you’re interested, Acura is setting up a mailing list to make sure you’re first to know.
What we don’t know yet are the details. Acura says the car will “start around $30,000”, but that we’ll need to wait for more. Acura has also said that the Integra will be the only vehicle in its segment with a six-speed stick as well as the only hatchback. We’re expecting it to be largely a 2022 Honda Civic Si hatchback – a shape Honda isn’t offering – with Acura styling, switchgear, and some performance extras.
