2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 Priced From $84,000 in Canada

The new 2023 Electrified GV70 will be another invisible yet brilliant EV from Genesis

The long-awaited and much-anticipated Genesis GV70 Prestige AWD is finally here – the second fully electric SUV from the luxury car brand after the GV60. This exciting new vehicle marks the third electric model in their lineup, demonstrating the company’s commitment to an all-electric future by 2030.

The Electrified GV70 Prestige AWD Prestige SUV is an exciting and stylish addition to the Genesis family. It combines the sleek and modern design of a traditional GV70 with the convenience, power, and efficiency of all-electric performance. With its spacious interior, powerful battery, and advanced safety features, it’s sure to become highly sought-after.

The Electrified GV70 boasts a powerful performance with its 160 kW electric motors installed in both the front and rear, resulting in a combined output of 320 kW (429 hp) and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. For a quick boost, drivers can activate the Boost mode which provides an impressive 10-second 483 hp power burst. The vehicle is equipped with a high-capacity 77.4kWh battery that can be rapidly charged from 10-80 percent in only 18 minutes using 350kW (800V) DC fast charging technology.

The Electrified GV70 Prestige AWD also features plenty of top-of-the-line features and amenities, including a 12.3-inch digital cluster, a 14.5-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, leather everywhere, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, blind spot view monitor, and more. panoramic sunroof, 20″ alloy wheels, and an aerodynamic body design for an extra touch of sophistication.

“The Electrified GV70 represents a significant milestone as we continue on our journey toward full electrification by 2030,” says Eric Marshall, director of Genesis Motors Canada. “We are pleased to be expanding our electric vehicle portfolio, particularly in a space where we see a significant opportunity for sustainable growth here in Canada.”

The GV70 Prestige AWD officially launches next month in Canada with a starting price of $84,000.
