2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan pricing announced for Canada

  • 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE fully-electric sedan to start at $85,600 in Canada

  • Three versions will be offered

  • New Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ will start at $121,500

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan will start at $85,600 when it arrives in Canada in summer 2023. The EQE sedan will be joined by the new 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ sedan which will have a starting price of $121,500.

The new EQE slots below the EQS full-size flagship electric vehicle in the Mercedes-Benz EV lineup. It will be offered in two distinct versions, the EQE 350 and EQE 500, both offering standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Fully Electric Mercedes-AMG EQE Debuts

2023 EQE 350 4MATIC Sedan:  Starting at $85,600

The EQE 350 4MATIC sedan will be the entry-level model in the 2023 EQE lineup. It will feature 288 hp and 564 pound-feet of torque from its dual permanently excited synchronous electric motors. It will come standard with 19-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch LED instrument cluster and 12.3-inch OLED centre infotainment screen and it will be available into trims, Exclusive and Pinnacle.

2023 EQE 500 4MATIC Sedan: Starting at $95,000

The EQE 500 4MATIC significantly bumps power output with 402 hp and 633 pound-feet of torque. It will feature the same dashboard layout with the same digital instrument cluster and centre display screens as the entry-level EQE 350 out of the gate. It will come with standard leather upholstery as well.

The EPA has yet to confirm the range of the new EQE electric sedan. We do know that it will feature a 90.6-kWh battery. The official all-eledctric range according to the EPA for the EQE 350 and EQE 500 is 418 kilometres. Given that the EQS offers 547 kilometres of range from a larger 107.8-kWh battery, we tend to agree with Mercedes-Benz’ initial estimates. Both the EQE 350 and the EQE 500 4MATIC will feature the same battery.

The 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ Sedan: Starting at $121,500

The 2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ will be the most powerful and capable fully electric Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle when it goes on sale. It delivers 617 hp and 701 pound-feet of torque out of the gate, while the RACE START launch control feature ups the performance temporarily to 677 hp and 738 pound-feet of torque. This will allow the EQE AMG electric sedan to deliver quicker accelerations than the E 63 AMG. It also features a host of dynamic features including the AMG DYNAMIC Plus package and the AMG Sound Experience system.
