Honda’s all-new FL5 2023 Civic Type R is one of the greatest sport-compact cars of all time. If you ask me, the previous 2017-2021 FK8 is better, but that’s just me… No matter, it’s an incredible driver’s car. A little over a year after Acura revived the Integra name, they announced the coming of a Type S iteration and now we know what it will cost.

We’ve come to terms with the resurrection of the Integra name as the car, though still a relatively rare sight, has proven its mettle. A fine driving apparatus as it is a Honda Civic Si clone, all it needed was a little more oomph. Thanks to the new Civic Type R, it will soon become a highly sought after small premium performance that will take on and crush the likes of the Audi S3 and BMW 2 Series.
Starting with the $50,050, the new 2024 Acura Integra Type S gains 5hp from the turbocharged 2.0 litre VTEC engine for a total 320 and the same 310 lb.-ft. of torque, a 16-speaker ELS STUDIO 3D premium audio system, and an embossed front bumper for an extra $5,550, for a grand total of $55,600.
Frankly, Acura could charge more than $60k for the car as no matter how many are available for sale, all will be spoken for in very little time. Like the Civic Type R, it will be ultra-exclusive and a future classic.
