Both the Equinox and Blazer mark Chevy’s SUV future.
The Equinox EV will go on sale in late 2023.
We’ve recently reviewed both the Chevrolet Equinox and Blazer and to put it briefly, both have lost considerable ground to the competition in their respective segments. Both are slated to get EV versions and the next to be revealed will be the Equinox.
Our future is electric …now it’s your turn.

The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV was introduced in mid-July and almost immediately after, the Equinox EV was teased. The interest in this compact SUV is palpable as it will share GM’s Ultium platform and GM Canada promises that it will be affordable.
The first to go live will be the RS version. Visually, it’s always to most appealing and it will also be the first to go on sale in the fall of 2023. As you might expect, the RS won’t be the most affordable. GM Canada’s website stipulates that the 2024 Equinox EV LT will have a starting price of around $37,250. Unfortunately, and as is the norm these days, the LT will come later as will specs.
As Chevy’s volume SUV, the Equinox needs to get back and the EV might make it happen.
