In a trailblazing move that reinforces its status as the world’s leading pickup manufacturer, Ford has raised the bar for midsize trucks with the unveiling of the all-new and fully redesigned 2024 Ford Ranger. Engineered with the brand’s renowned Built Ford Tough ethos and a robust 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6 engine, this latest model is the most connected and capable Ranger ever.

With the Ranger now available in over 180 global markets, Ford continues to expand its winning global truck portfolio. Starting at $41,255 in Canada, the Ranger is set to redefine the experience for midsize truck customers seeking adventure.

Adventure-Ready Performance

The all-new 2024 Ford Ranger, tested across diverse terrains equivalent to nearly 8 million customer kilometres, is designed for durability and reliability. The redesigned, fully boxed high-strength steel frame, increased ground clearance, and relocated rear shocks make it an off-road champion. With the ability to tow up to 7,500 pounds and carry a payload of 1,711 pounds, it’s ready for any adventure. The Ranger’s powertrain features a standard 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, producing 270 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque. For more power, there’s the optional 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6, delivering 315 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic SelectShift transmission and an electronic shift-on-the-fly 4×4 system, offering exceptional off-road and low traction capabilities.

Intelligent Design Meets User-Centric Innovation

The 2024 Ranger brings intelligent design and user-centric innovation to the forefront. Its interior features intuitive storage solutions, upgraded materials, and an improved fit and finish. The standard 8-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch centre touchscreen, upgradeable to a full-screen 12.4-inch and 12-inch, respectively, along with Ford’s SYNC 4A system and a standard embedded 4G LTE modem, offer a smart, connected driving experience. The touchscreen links to an optional 360-degree camera for easy parking and off-road navigation.

Additional features include two USB ports, an optional wireless charging pad, over-the-air updates, optional Zone Lighting, and bed lighting. The Ranger also boasts 31 standard or available driver assist features, including Active Park Assist 2.0 and Pro Trailer Backup Assist. The truck’s bed features an available Integrated Box Side Step, a 400-watt power inverter, and a redesigned tailgate that doubles as a workbench, all complemented by increased track width for easier loading of bulky cargo. The new Ranger’s feature-rich design redefines user experience in the midsize truck segment.

Embracing Distinctive Design for a Bolder Presence

The all-new pickup boldly reimagines its iconic design, offering unique grilles and front-end aesthetics for the XL, XLT, and Lariat models. Incorporating Ford’s signature C-clamp headlight design and potent shoulder lines, the Ranger’s redesign accentuates its commanding presence. The wheel arches, more prominent than ever, enhance the truck’s grounded, confident stance. This harmonious design narrative continues at the back, with C-clamp taillamps mirroring the front-end design. The finishing touch? An unmissable “RANGER” stamped across the tailgate, ensuring that the world knows exactly what you’re driving. With its striking new design elements, the 2024 Ford Ranger reinforces its status as a standout in the midsize truck category.
