2024 Nissan Sentra Unveils Refreshed Design and Improved Efficiency

Sportier Styling Meets Advanced Tech in Nissan's Latest Sentra Lineup

  • 2024 Nissan Sentra debuts with a revamped design and enhanced fuel efficiency.

  • Interior refresh and connectivity upgrades boost functionality and user experience.

  • Safety remains paramount with standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 across all grades.

In a move to bolster its competitiveness, the 2024 Nissan Sentra rolls out with a refreshed design, powertrain enhancements and new technology features. This revamp looks set to improve fuel efficiency and overall performance, with sales for the range – including S, SV, and SR grades – starting later this summer.

The Sentra’s exterior has undergone a makeover. A new front fascia, restyled headlights, and 16-inch alloy wheels update its aesthetic across all models. The SR grade, in particular, gets an upgraded rear fascia and a fresh interior accent stitching colour, enriching its sporty appeal. Additionally, the SR version now offers stunning two-tone paint options and an interior accent stitching in a red-orange hue, matching the Altima SR and Frontier PRO-X and PRO-4X aesthetics.

Enhancements in the powertrain department include a new Xtronic CVT and Idle Stop Start technology, paired with a 2.0-litre inline-four engine. The aim is to elevate fuel efficiency, making the 2024 Nissan Sentra a practical choice for eco-conscious drivers. This engine produces a respectable 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque.

Sentra’s interior also gets a functional, yet refined refresh. A D-shaped steering wheel, round air vents inspired by the Nissan Z sports car, and abundant storage options all contribute to the vehicle’s visual appeal. Nissan’s Zero Gravity front seats aim to optimize occupant comfort. Not to mention the generous 14.3 cubic feet of trunk space, standard 60/40 split-folding back seat, and up to three USB ports, which add to its practical appeal.

Connectivity is another key aspect of the 2024 Sentra, with a standard 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Features include Bluetooth, Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Siri Eyes-Free, Google Assistant Voice Recognition and one front USB port. Upgrades to an 8-inch screen and extra USB ports are available on the SV and SR grades.

Nissan’s commitment to safety remains a cornerstone, with all grades equipped with standard Nissan Safety Shield 360. This suite of advanced driver-assist systems includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Automatic Braking. Additional safety features comprise Intelligent Driver Alertness, Intelligent Cruise Control, and the standard Easy-Fill Tire Alert system.

Overall, the 2024 Nissan Sentra is poised to offer a balanced blend of style, performance, and advanced technology.
