2025 Audi E-Tron GT the Most Powerful Audi Ever

Audi has turned up the wick on the e-tron GT. The 2025 Audi e-tron GT gets some styling upgrades all around, but the RS model turns into a rocket ship. With 912 hp in Performance trim, it’s the most powerful factory Audi ever.

The company has dropped the old base model, meaning that the S with 670 hp is the entry point into the e-tron GT range. The RS model has been boosted from 637 hp to 845, and then there’s the 912 hp RS e-tron GT Performance sitting on the top of the pile at 912 hp. The extra power comes from upgraded front motor electronics and a new rear motor that is 10 kilos lighter than before.

With all that power, the Performance model can hit 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. But it won’t be that quick all of the time. The peak figure includes the 10 seconds of boost mode and the rest of the time, it is 94 hp lower.

The new battery has a 105 kWh capacity and is nine kilos lighter than last year. Audi has optimized the internal cooling to help it deliver more power more often. It can also handle 400 kW of regenerative braking, up from 290.

It will also charge more quickly at the plug, up 50 kW to 320 kW max. That means 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes and up to 280 km in just 10. Audi says it can see high-speed charging at temperatures as low as 15C. The max range is up to 609 km on the WLTP cycle.

A new version of the Audi virtual cockpit gets new battery info screens. These include operating state, temperature, and even forecasted quick-charge rates. Other dash upgrades include more RS-specific content.

All e-tron GT models get new brakes, including tungsten carbide-coated rotors on the RS models. Carbon fibre ceramic discs are also optional and come with 10-pot calipers.

The suspension system is also new, with a two-chamber air system offering more comfort and improved handling. A new active suspension is on the options list, and the Performance version has a race track drive mode. All-wheel steering is optional. The 2025 e-tron GT is available to order now. Expect prices for North America to be announced later.
