2025 Honda Odyssey Gets Bigger Standard Rear Screen

The Odyssey gets a small update for a new age

  • New Odyssey adds better rear-seat entertainment

  • The driver and front passenger get more screen too

Honda is taking another Odyssey into family transportation. The 2025 Honda Odyssey minivan gets some very mild styling changes on the outside but some big cabin experience changes, the part that matters on a van, on the inside.

The changes outside are a new grille and new bumpers with some black trim. Honda would very much like you to know that the rear reflectors are the same ones used on the NSX, but we know you’ve already scrolled to the next paragraph.

Every 2025 Odyssey gets a new, larger 9.0-inch touchscreen. More important than the extra real estate is the more powerful processor, which improves performance when using features like the Cabin Talk address system, in-cabin cameras, or changing your tunes the instant the kids get out.

The dash screen is new, too. A 7.0-inch display has a digital tach on the left so you can watch this van kick into VTEC and a real speedo on the right. Customisation of the digital screen is available.

Rear seat passengers get an even larger screen—12.8 inches—and the rear entertainment system is standard. Honda has moved the HDMI plug to a space in the console and added more USB-C ports so everyone can quickly charge.

The basic Odyssey is the $49,920 Sport model, which includes heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Sport-L has black trim and red cabin stitching. Touring adds nav, Cabin Watch, and premium audio for $58,320, and the Black Edition gets perforated leather seats. The 2025 Honda Odyssey hits dealers this summer, with Touring grades delayed until winter.
