2025 Lincoln Aviator Gets New Grille, New Tech, Standard BlueCruise

Aviator brings new tech to the luxury space

  • Lincoln upgrades Aviator with a little more altitude

  • New tech includes next-generation infotainment system

Like its Explorer sibling, the Lincoln Aviator is getting a refresh for 2025. The 2025 Aviator gets a light refresh on the outside including the next evolution of the brand’s face. The cabin promises more luxury and quiet, and the simplified lineup drops the PHEV model completely.

That big new grille really stands out. The 2025 Lincoln Aviator’s nose is wider and taller, with light strips meant to make it look more dynamic. The three-row crossover will also be offered with a light-up Lincoln Star, speed-dependent lighting, and adaptive pixel LED lamps.

Lincoln has added two new screens in a revised dashboard layout. The digital dash is a 12.3-inch screen. The center display measures 13.2 inches, and it uses a brand-new Lincoln Digital Experience operating system.

The new OS is designed to make voice controls easier and more convenient. To that end, it can be set to use either the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa in-car controls. Either can adjust climate control, set the audio system, change destinations on the built-in Google Maps app, and more. The system also allows audio apps, including Spotify and Audible, to be downloaded.

Lincoln has upgraded the materials inside. It will also offer new interior colours including Onyx, Light Space Gey, and Hot Chocolate. U.S. buyers get even higher levels of luxury in the Black Label model with calligraphy and open-pore Khaya wood.

The Aviator will continue to offer a 28-speaker Revel Ultima audio system. It also has 30-way front seats.

New for 2025, the Aviator will come with BlueCruise hands free driving as standard equipment. It will also include a panoramic roof, 14-speaker Revel audio system, head-up display, ventilated front seats, and adaptive suspension as well as a Class III trailer tow package.

Just one engine will be available for 2025. The 3.0L twin-turbo V6 with a 10-speed automatic offers 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. Order books are open now, with deliveries to start in the summer.
