The 2025 model year marks the arrival of the fourth generation of the SUV.

This autumn, Nissan unveiled the fourth generation of the Murano, which is due to go on sale early next year. Part of the two-row midsize SUV category, the Murano is getting a complete makeover for 2025. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine replaces its old V6 engine with variable compression. It produces 241 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission has replaced the continuously variable automatic transmission.

According to official data provided by Natural Resources Canada, the 2025 Nissan Murano consumes 9.7 L/100 kilometres in combined driving. In the city, the figure is 10.6 L/100 kilometres, and on the highway, 8.6 L/100 kilometres.
This is an improvement over the third-generation Murano. Remember that the 2024 Murano’s fuel consumption was 10.4 L/100 km combined, 12 L/100 km in the city, and 8.5 L/100 km on the highway.
For now, Nissan has not yet made the price range of the 2025 Murano public.
