Volkswagen Canada has announced the upcoming launch of the 2025 ID. Buzz, an all-electric version of the iconic “Bus” model. The vehicle will be available in rear-wheel drive and 4MOTION all-wheel drive configurations, with a starting MSRP of $77,495.

The ID. Buzz features a 91 kWh battery, providing 282 horsepower in rear-wheel drive models and up to 335 horsepower in all-wheel drive variants. The rear-wheel drive model offers an all-electric range of 377 km, while the 4MOTION all-wheel drive version provides a slightly reduced range of 373 km.

Standard features include 20-inch “Stockton” aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, and advanced driver assistance technologies such as IQ.DRIVE. The vehicle also comes equipped with dual power-sliding rear doors, a power tailgate, and keyless access.

The exterior design combines retro elements with modern aesthetics, featuring an oversized VW logo and short overhangs. Customers can choose from a range of exterior colours, including Energetic Orange, Pomelo Yellow, and Cabana Blue. Two-tone colour schemes with a Candy White top are also available.

Inside, the ID. Buzz offers three exclusive interior themes for North American models: “Cognac,” “Dune,” and “Moonlight.” The vehicle includes a 5.3-inch ID. cockpit digital instrument cluster and ambient lighting with 30 colours.

Additional features include wireless charging, App-Connect, and a premium harman/kardon sound system with 14 speakers. Driver assistance features such as Park Assist Plus and Dynamic Road Sign Display are also standard.

The rear-wheel drive 1st Edition model is priced at $77,495, while the 4MOTION all-wheel drive version starts at $82,995. Both models come with a range of standard features and exclusive badging.

Volkswagen Canada expects the ID. Buzz to arrive at Canadian dealerships in late 2024. Tow ratings and detailed specifications will be provided closer to the vehicle’s launch.
