2026 Honda Pilot Arrives From $55,550 with Upgraded Cabin, Design, and Safety Tech

New tech, quieter interior, and expanded safety features highlight Honda’s midsize SUV update for 2026.

  • All 2026 Honda Pilot trims feature larger screens, wireless connectivity, and upgraded safety systems.

  • Pricing begins at $55,550 for the Sport AWD; TrailSport adds off-road tuning and unique styling.

  • Cabin enhancements include noise reduction, new trim materials, and expanded standard tech features.

The updated 2026 Honda Pilot is now available across Canadian dealerships, offering a range of upgrades including a larger touchscreen, new safety technologies, and revised styling. Pricing for the family-oriented, all-wheel drive SUV starts at $55,550 MSRP ($58,696 with fees) for the base Sport trim.

All five trims—Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Black Edition—feature Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel drive system and a 3.5-litre DOHC V6 engine producing 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

2025 Honda Pilot TrailSport Review: Good SUV, Bad Deal?

Every 2026 Pilot is equipped with a 12.3-inch high-definition touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital driver display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in, and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities are also now standard. Steering feel has also been refined with a retuned electric power steering system for more natural feedback and improved highway stability.

Interior comfort has been improved through various noise-reducing measures, including new semi-tempered glass, additional insulation, and enclosed fender liners (Touring trim). Honda reports a 2 to 3 dB reduction in cabin noise across key frequencies.

Exterior styling updates include a larger grille, new scuff plates, and new colour options. Solar Silver Metallic is now available across the range, while the TrailSport trim introduces an exclusive Ash Green Metallic finish. Roof rails are now standard across all trims.

The Touring trim adds diamond-stitched Ultra Suede seat accents and new machine-finished Shark Grey 20-inch alloy wheels. The Black Edition receives new Berlina Black wheels, while the TrailSport includes a new surround-view camera and off-road styled rear scuff plate.

The Pilot TrailSport continues to focus on off-road readiness with exclusive hardware, including a raised suspension, skid plates, and all-terrain tires. Its i-VTM4 system allows up to 70% of torque to be sent to the rear wheels, with full side-to-side distribution to enhance cornering and traction on uneven surfaces.

Five drive modes are standard across all trims—Normal, Econ, Snow, Sport, and Tow. EX-L and higher trims include Sand and Trail modes for additional off-road customization. Hill Descent Control is also standard.

All 2026 Pilot models include the Honda Sensing suite of driver assistance features. This includes Collision Mitigation Braking System with pedestrian detection, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning.
