All trims receive updated dampers and brake LSD for improved handling
New GS Kuro and GT Kuro editions feature black accents and white leatherette interiors
Mazda Canada has released pricing and packaging details for the 2026 CX-30, introducing two new Kuro Edition trims and chassis upgrades across the entire lineup. The subcompact crossover starts at $29,300 and tops out at $41,350 for the turbocharged GT Kuro Edition.
Every CX-30 now receives updated dampers for improved ride comfort and a brake Limited Slip Differential (LSD), which Mazda says enhances traction and stability on varied road surfaces. All models continue to include i-Activ all-wheel drive, G-Vectoring Control Plus, and Off-Road Traction Assist as standard equipment.
GS Kuro Edition Debuts at $34,400
The new GS Kuro Edition builds on the mid-range GS trim with exterior styling focused on black accents. The package includes black roof rails, gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels, black-painted signature wings, and gloss black Mazda emblems.
Inside, the GS Kuro features white leatherette seats with grey cloth inserts, grey suede-like trim panels, and light-grey stitching. Equipment additions include a power glass moonroof, 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, two-position memory settings, and Cruise and Traffic Support for semi-automated driving in stop-and-go conditions.
GT Kuro Edition Adds Turbo Power at $41,350
The GT Kuro Edition adds the turbocharged Skyactiv-G 2.5-litre engine. Output reaches 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque on 93-octane fuel, or 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft on regular 87-octane. Peak torque arrives between 2,000 and 2,500 rpm.
Standard equipment on the GT Kuro includes the Bose 12-speaker audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Mazda Online Navigation, and Amazon Alexa integration.
Powertrain and Base Equipment
The naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-litre 4-cylinder remains standard on GX, GS, GS Kuro, and GT trims. It produces 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Standard safety technology across the lineup includes Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Smart Brake Support, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and more.
