  • All-terrain tires and Hill Descent Control enhance off-road capability

  • Distinctive exterior design includes tubular roof rack with cross bars

  • HD Off-Road Monitor operates while driving up to 19 km/h

The 2026 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek edition arrives this fall as the most adventure-ready version of the compact SUV. This new trim targets drivers who need both family-friendly practicality and genuine off-road capability.

Rock Creek transforms the standard Rogue with purpose-built upgrades that extend its capabilities beyond paved roads. Here are five key features that distinguish this rugged new edition.

All-Terrain Tire Package Enhances Off-Road Performance

Rock Creek rolls on 235/65R17 Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires mounted to 17-inch satin black wheels. These beadlock-style tires provide superior traction on gravel, sand, and uneven terrain compared to standard highway tires. The all-terrain treads maintain road manners for daily driving while offering the grip needed for weekend adventures.

The tire package works alongside Rock Creek’s standard Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, which automatically adjusts power distribution between wheels based on driving conditions.

Distinctive Exterior Design Elements

Rock Creek’s appearance immediately signals its outdoor focus. The edition features a unique gloss black front grille with silver accents, replacing the standard chrome treatment. A redesigned front fascia incorporates Lava Red accents that continue throughout the vehicle’s design.

The tubular roof rack with integrated cross bars adds both functionality and visual impact. These bars, also accented in Lava Red, provide mounting points for bikes, kayaks, or cargo boxes. Gloss black sideview mirrors complete the rugged aesthetic.

Enhanced Off-Road Technology Features

Rock Creek includes an HD Intelligent Around View Monitor with a specialized Off-Road view mode. This system operates while driving at speeds up to 19 km/h, helping drivers spot obstacles, rocks, or ruts when maneuvering off-road.

Hill Descent Control supplements the standard all-wheel drive system by automatically maintaining steady speeds on steep downhill grades. This feature reduces driver fatigue during challenging descents and helps maintain vehicle control.

Upgraded Interior Features and Convenience

Inside, Rock Creek features TailorFit Leatherette Seats with contrast stitching and the Rock Creek logo. Lava Red accent stitching matches the exterior colour scheme, while piano black dashboard trim adds a premium touch.

A 12-volt power outlet in the cargo area provides convenient charging for camping equipment, tools, or electronic devices during outdoor activities. The standard 8-inch touchscreen includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Rock Creek maintains the same cargo capacity as other Rogue trims, offering 895 litres with the second-row seat upright and 2,098 litres with seats folded down. The tubular roof rack system provides additional external storage without compromising interior space.

Practical Performance and Efficiency

Rock Creek uses the same 1.5-litre Variable Compression Turbo engine found across the Rogue lineup. This VC-Turbo unit produces 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque, providing adequate power for both daily driving and light off-road use.

The engine continuously adjusts its compression ratio to optimize either power delivery or fuel efficiency based on driving conditions. Standard Idle Stop/Start technology helps reduce fuel consumption during city driving.

Fuel Economy Comparison

The all-terrain tires create a slight fuel economy trade-off compared to standard 2026 Rogue trims:

Trim LevelCity (L/100km)Highway (L/100km)Combined (L/100km)
S, SV, Platinum8.36.87.6
Rock Creek8.77.28.0

The difference amounts to approximately 0.4 L/100km across all driving conditions due to the more aggressive tire tread pattern.

The 2026 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek will arrive at Canadian dealerships this fall in four colour options: Everest White, Super Black, Boulder Gray, and Baja Storm. Pricing information for the Rock Creek edition will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
