New 2027 Kia Seltos X-Line pricing starts at $42,658.
Gasoline models arrive this month, with hybrid availability expected by year-end.
Turbocharged 1.6L models produce 190 horsepower and use an eight-speed automatic.
Kia Canada has priced the redesigned 2027 Seltos from $31,858 ($28,495 MSRP), with the first gasoline models reaching Canadian dealerships this month.
The second-generation subcompact SUV arrives with a larger cabin, more cargo capacity and extra screen real estate compared with the outgoing model. The redesigned Seltos also gains more standard technology and additional advanced driver-assistance content.
Two gasoline engines are confirmed at launch. The base 2.0L four-cylinder is paired with Kia’s Intelligent Variable Transmission. A turbocharged 1.6L four-cylinder produces 190 horsepower and uses an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual control.
The turbocharged lineup begins with the X-Line AWD 1.6L Turbo-GDI. It features a full X-Line body design with LED fog lights, and an X-Line interior that also includes more display real estate.

A Seltos hybrid will join the Canadian lineup later this year. It will use a 1.6L four-cylinder hybrid system with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Kia says the hybrid will be offered in front-wheel drive and with available e-AWD, which the company describes as a first for a Kia hybrid SUV.
Fuel-economy ratings and Canadian pricing for the hybrid have not yet been released. Kia says those details will be provided closer to the model’s on-sale date.
The Seltos has become a major volume model for Kia Canada since launching in 2020. The company says it has delivered 110,747 units in Canada to date.
