- Bentley’s first fully electric vehicle produces up to 876 horsepower
- A 113-kWh battery provides up to 600 kilometres of WLTP range
- Canadian pricing and availability have not yet been announced
Bentley has officially entered the electric era with the global debut of the Torcal, a new five-metre-long luxury SUV that becomes the company’s fourth model line. Designed, engineered and built in Crewe, England, the Torcal will be offered in standard and performance-oriented S variants.

The standard Torcal uses two electric motors to produce 821 PS, equivalent to approximately 810 horsepower, and 1,194 Nm (881 lb-ft) of torque. Bentley claims a 0–100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
The Torcal S increases output to 888 PS, or approximately 876 horsepower, and 1,350 Nm (996 lb-ft) with launch control engaged. It reaches 100 km/h in a claimed 2.9 seconds before topping out at 260 km/h, making it the quickest-accelerating and most powerful production Bentley to date.

A 113-kWh Battery and 400-kW Charging
A 113-kWh usable battery operates on an 800-volt electrical architecture. Bentley estimates a maximum WLTP range of 600 kilometres, although official NRCan and EPA ratings have not been released.
The Torcal supports DC fast charging at up to 400 kW. Bentley says charging from 10 to 80 percent can take as little as 16 minutes under ideal conditions, while approximately 161 kilometres of range can be added in seven minutes. The battery is covered by a 10-year or 160,000-kilometre warranty.
Fully active suspension, adaptive dampers and standard rear-wheel steering represent Bentley’s most advanced chassis setup yet. Rear steering of up to five degrees helps reduce the turning circle to 11.1 metres.

Familiar Bentley Luxury With New Materials
The cabin combines curved OLED displays with physical controls for frequently used functions. Standard front seats offer 16-way adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage, while a power-folding three-passenger rear seat appears in a Bentley for the first time.
Cargo capacity measures 460 litres behind the rear seats, supplemented by a 90-litre front storage compartment.

Bentley has also developed an artificial propulsion sound using recordings of drums, viola and bass guitar inspired by the rhythm of its traditional 6.75-litre V8. Drivers can increase its intensity in Sport mode or turn it off entirely.
Canadian and U.S. pricing, final range ratings and regional launch timing remain unconfirmed.
