Cadillac Extends Its Curated Customization Program to the 2027 Escalade IQ

• The Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be available in the United States and Canada in very limited numbers.

• A concierge will assist buyers in selecting from more than 160 paint colours and 44 shades of upholstery.

• This model will be handbuilt at the Cadillac Artisan Center, alongside the Celestiq.

After having launched the very exclusive Celestiq, which can be fully customized by its buyers, Cadillac extends this level of personalization to its flagship SUV, the Escalade IQ.

Indeed, the American automaker will make available the Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ for the 2027 model year, allowing buyers to tailor the look of their SUV.

Like with the Celestiq, buyers of the Curated Escalade IQ will be assisted by a concierge, who will be a liaison between the buyer, the dealership, and the design team.

This assistance might be necessary for indecisive buyers, as they will need to choose from a selection of more than 160 paint colours that have been specifically designed for the Escalade IQ. These include solids, metallics, tri-coats, frosts, and mattes.

In addition, buyers will also have a choice of 44 hues for the leather upholstery, along with contrasting elements for the stitching and piping.

Cadillac says there are millions of available combinations, which ensures every Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be entirely unique.

Priced at U.S. $54,995 above a standard Escalade IQ, which starts at $127,405 in the United States ($161,043 in Canada), the Curated by Cadillac program also includes assembly at the brand’s Artisan Center, which is located within General Motors’ Tech Center, in Warren Michigan.

Like the Celestiq, the Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be hand-built, and its paint will be hand-finished, ensuring a level of craftsmanship that isn’t possible with an automated assembly line.

Mechanically, the Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be identical to other Escalade IQ models, which means it will be powered by a 200-kWh battery and two electric motors that deliver a total of 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque. Range for the Escalade IQ is rated at 748 kilometres by the manufacturer.

The automaker hasn’t said how many of these exclusive Escalade IQ SUVs will be made, only that availability will be “extremely limited”.

Deliveries are expected to start in the second half of 2027 for the Canadian and American markets, and a concept version will be displayed for the public to see at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering, in Carmel, California, on August 14.
