  • This video is for absolute rallying nuts such as yourself.
  • It’s the Holidays – Take an hour and enjoy.

This documentary video is a must for fans of what is arguably the most intensive and skill-requiring motorsport of all-time: Rallying. Back in the very early 80s, Group B cars became the norm but quickly enough, there was a problem – these cars were too fast to race.

This 64-minute documentary on WRC cars give a brief history on the origins of rallying in Europe and how it went from a Gentlemen’s Sport to an all-out war between car manufacturers. You’ll see beauties from Lancia, MINI, Renault as well as Michelle Mouton behind the fabulous Audi quattro.

Must of know what took place during the early to mid-80s with these Group B cars and their ultimate demise. Many could argue that the cars themselves were not the issue but the governing FIA not being able to exercise enough control over the ever-growing crowds that attended these events. There was, also, the fact that a few drivers and spectators perished during this period.

And so, sit back, relax, cast or press play and enjoy one of the greatest history lessons in motorsports.

You’re welcome.
