Maserati will showcase two limited edition models at Monterey Car Week featuring PELLETESSUTA woven leather interiors.
Monterey Car Week is a week away and car manufacturers are unveiling their plans for this prestigious event. Maserati announced today that they will feature two new 2020 special edition models, a Quattroporte S Q4 GranLusso Sedan and a Levante S GranSport SUV.
Both these vehicles will be limited to 100 total cars and feature PELLETESSUTA woven leather interiors crafted by Ermenegildo Zegna. Which means 50 Quattroporte S Q4 GranLusso sedans and 50 Levante S GranSport SUVs.
The PELLETESSUTA interior by Ermenegildo Zegna is made “using thin strips of Nappa leather in place of fabric yarns which are woven together and interlaced replicating the traditional method of weaving cloth to obtain a real ‘fabric’ from leather.”
That being said, both special editions will have exclusive colours. The Quattroporte will get a custom Blu Sofisticato Metallic exterior paint while the Levante’s will be wearing a Bronzo tri-coat exterior colour.
As for the interior, they will, obviously, get the PELLETESSUTA treatment. Dark Brown will be featured on the Quattroporte and Black for the Levante.
These 100 Special Editions will be available for sale on a first-come, first-served basis and will be delivered in Spring 2020.
Meanwhile, the Monterey Car Week will be held from August 14th to 18th 2019 in Monterey, California.
