Acura Launching Smaller ADX Model For 2025

Smaller new Acura crossover coming

  • Acura’s fourth crossover comes early next year

  • Will be the brand’s smallest model

Acura is readying a new crossover that should fix a somewhat glaring hole in its lineup. The 2025 Acura ADX will join the company’s lineup, sitting below the RDX and MDX, as well as the electric ZDX.

The automaker describes the 2025 ADX as “a new premium SUV.” It’s not clear exactly what the model will be based on, but Acura compares it to the Integra as the company’s entry level models.

Likely to compete with vehicles like the Cadillac XT4, Lexus UX, and Volvo XC40, this will be a turbocharged crossover. The engine is likely to be the same 1.5L four-cylinder as found in the Integra, where it makes 200 hp. The rest of the vehicle is likely to share components, or at least be similar in size to Honda’s HR-V, much like the Integra is a variant of the Honda Civic.

Acura is giving us a long lead for the new model. The company said that it will make its debut sometime in early 2025, giving the brand a new reach into younger buyers of premium models.

“The 2025 Acura ADX will add a fourth SUV to our lineup and a new gateway model ready to build on the incredible success of Integra, helping make Acura a destination brand for a new generation of buyers,” said Emile Korkor, assistant vice president, Acura National Sales. “With the first-ever ADX and all-electric ZDX, the Acura lineup will have SUVs covered from A to Z.”
