The Limited Edition Giulia and Stelvio GT Junior are a fun yet serious pair of premium vehicles that pay tribute to one of Alfa Romeo’s most beloved icons, the 1960s Giulia GT 1300 Junior.
The new Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio GT Junior will feature the turbocharged 280-horsepower 2.0-litre engine (2.2-litre turbo-diesel in other markets), an 8-speed automatic transmission, and Q4 AWD. Differentiating the new GT Junior models will be its unique Lipari Ochre exterior colour, five-hole 21-inch wheels on the Stelvio, or 19-inch wheels on the Giulia. The dashboard will include a stylish GT 1300 Junior silhouette while the headrests will have “GT Junior” embroidered in them.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 Junior was a huge hit as nearly 100,000 units were assembled and sold over its 1966-1976 production run. It embodied the cool and carefree 1960s when dreams were achievable. The Giulia GT 1300 was advertised at the time with the following claim: “Una vittoria al giorno, con una vettura per tutti i giorni” (“a victory a day in your everyday car”).
