Nearly all buyers opted for the Special Edition Version.
The GT-R Nismo was revealed last April.
Clearly, age is not a dissuasive factor when it comes to the always incredible Nissan GT-R. This is proven by the fact that all 300 units of the GT-R Nismo quickly sold out. In actuality, nearly all buyers opted for the Special Edition pushing Nissan to stop taking orders for the car.
This new 2022 Nissan GT-R Nismo was introduced back in April with a number of visual upgrades. The most notable is the new Nismo Stealth Gray paint which roughly half of all buyers selected according to autoevolution. The Special Edition also includes exceptionally attractive black multi-spoke 20-inch Rays forged aluminum wheels with a red accent. As well, and no need to dive into aftermarket catalogs for this one: the Nismo is delivered with a clear-coated carbon fiber hood.
The GT-R Nismo’s VR38DETT 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 is upgraded with a different crankshaft, flywheel, and many other components which raise output to 600 horsepower from the standard 565. Other upgrades for the Nismo include carbon-ceramic brakes, Brembo calipers, and a few extra aero bits.
