The handful of Ford F-Series Super Duty owners who thought their trucks weren’t hardcore enough can now order it with Tremor off-road package.
The Tremor off-road package transforms the already highly-capable Ford Super Duty into a serious tool for tackling the most difficult off-road course. Being a Super Duty, it can also tow and haul with the best of them. The all-new 2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty with the Tremor Off-Road Package might just be the most hardcore heavy-duty truck of them all.
The Tremor package includes the following upgrades: 35-inch-diameter Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires on 18-inch matte black wheel, a 2-inch front-end lift with a suspension consisting of 1.7-inch piston twin-tube dampers and progressive-rate springs (for a decently comfortable ride), selectable drive modes including a rock-crawl mode, a new Dana limited-slip front differential and more.
The result of a shorter air dam and raised ride height creates 10.8 inches of ground clearance, enough for up to 33 inches of water fording capabilities. If it seems like driving the Super Duty with the Tremor package will be lots of work, it is equipped with Trail control (cruise control for off-roading) which was first introduced with the Ford Raptor.
The 2020 Super Duty will launch later this year. The Tremor Off-Road Package will be available at the same time. Pricing for the package should be announced closer to launch date.
