The QX60 midsize luxury SUV is a critical part of Infiniti’s North American product portfolio.
Infiniti promises more features and capabilities with the new QX60.
Nissan is currently in the middle of a new product onslaught, and this includes its luxury brand. Recently, they introduced the QX55 or the coupe version of the popular QX50 SUV. Without question, however, the QX60 is a far more important product for Infiniti’s bottom line.
Since the reveal of the QX60 Monograph back in September of last year, Infiniti has dropped a few hints pertaining to its powertrain, capabilities, and technological improvements. We know a new 9-speed automatic transmission will replace the denigrated CVT and will be matched to a 295-horsepower 3.5-litre V6 engine. This powertrain combination will enable the QX60 to tow up to 6,000lbs.

Infiniti’s also shared details involving the fact that the QX60 will be the first vehicle to feature the latest iteration of the company’s ProPilot Assist system. In this press release’s accompanying image, we can clearly see that attention has been paid to the cabin as well.
The all-new 2022 Infiniti QX60 will debut on June 23rd and arrive in North American showrooms this fall.
