All-New 2022 Kia Carnival To Debut On February 23rd

Families interested in a real family vehicle have a new player to consider in the new Kia Carnival

  • The Carnival is the new Sedona.

  • The minivan’s new styling is inspired by the brand’s fresh lineup of SUVs.

  • It will be powered by a 290-horsepower V6 engine.

The segment is uncool, unpopular even, but competition is still very strong. The arrival of the all-new 2022 Kia Carnival means that all four major players have now been updated. Once known as the Kia Sedona, the Carnival takes over and brings with it a new look and plenty of tech and space.

For 2022, Kia has stretched the Carnival in nearly every direction to endow it with more of what families want: space. They’ve also thrown a slew of new and impressive tech features including an available 12.3-inch digital driver instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and loads more. The minivan will also be offered with a large array of ADAS technologies.

Inspired by the all-new Kia Telluride, Sorento, and Seltos, the Carnival is visually beefier than ever with its boxy and rugged appearance. Powering the 2022 Kia Carnival will be the 3.5-litre V6 that produces 290 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque.

The virtual reveal of the all-new 2022 Kia Carnival will take place at 11:00 AM PST on Tuesday, February 23. You can follow along by following this link.
